Sophie’s journey has been anything but ordinary. Driven by a passion for baking and creating, she has crafted a unique path that combines her love for art, travel, and storytelling, bringing to life edible masterpieces that reflect the beauty and history of the world around her.
Not one to take the generic route in life, Sophie went on a Journey, or a ‘Scenic Sophie Route’ in order to become the incredible Edible Artist she is today, having travelled physically, mentally & spiritually, overcoming obstacles and illnesses, to find her love of baking, making and serving discerning souls, since 2012.
Appreciating life, and the beauty it offers, Sophie prides herself on her ability to listen to others, to hear both spoken and unspoken words, taking in love stories, capturing elements that her couples love so dearly, and in turn, designing, baking and creating ‘Edible Artistry’ or ‘ Love stories to be devoured’.
Her work has taken her to some of the finest homes and venues across the UK, from beautiful private estates to historical landmarks steeped in history.
For some it’s a wedding cake, for Sophie and her couples, it’s so much more.
Working with Sophie is an experience in itself, from the initial consultation in her Studio, a space that has been created to welcome discerning souls, to experience encapsulating edible art.
A space where they feel safe to share their story, in turn, Sophie can capture and create the essence of their aesthetics, desires and taste buds, whilst sipping on champagne (Or a cuppa if you prefer!) and nibbling on exquisite, tantalising cakes.
With soft linens and fabrics, woody tones, stone, all early natural material that embrace Sophie’s love of nature, if you look closely, you may spot a little magpie, or beautiful delicate bird, encapsulating her love of nature. With finer details such as her illustrations softly embroidered into layered fabrics, only seen by those who care for such attention to detail, one of the many reasons they are with Sophie Page, renowned for her Luxurious Edible Art, a storyteller in her own right.
Consultations are charged at £35 and include your four preselected flavoured cakes and a 1-hour consultation with Sophie. This is payable at the point of booking in. Additional flavours can be tasted by prior arrangement. Tasting boxes are also available to order and enjoy in your own home.
Once you have confirmed your place in the diary Sophie will create a visual of your cake and send details of your order
From this point, Sophie will work on sourcing the finest ingredients and work her creative magic, to make, bake and design your bespoke cake, your own piece of Edible Art.
Arrangements will be made in advance for delivering & set up directly with Sophie, working within a timeline that incorporates your overall flow of the day to ensure that your Luxurious, Experiential, Edible Art is ready to be both desired and devoured by your guests.
